Refunds
Refund Policy
One promise, stated plainly: leave an Intensive without a tool you can use, and I refund you in full.
Effective 7 August 2026
1. The guarantee
Attend the full three hours, complete the short feedback form at the end, and if you still do not have something you can actually use, email me within seven days of the session. I refund you in full. There is no case to argue and no panel to convince.
On the feedback form
Any honest feedback qualifies. I am not asking for a good review. I am asking for an accurate one, because that is the only thing that makes the next session better.
2. What "in full" means
The entire amount you paid, returned to the card you paid with, through Stripe. I keep nothing, and there is no processing fee deducted.
I start the refund within five business days of your email. Your bank usually shows it within a few days after that, though some take longer, which is outside my control.
3. The two conditions, and why they exist
There are exactly two, and neither is a trapdoor.
- Attend the full session. The guarantee is that three hours of work produces a usable tool. It cannot be tested by an hour of it.
- Complete the feedback form. If the session failed you, I need to know how, in your words, before you leave.
Called away for something clinical partway through? That is not a broken condition. Tell me, and I move you to the next session at no charge.
4. Moving instead of refunding
Up to 48 hours before the start time you can move to any future session at no cost, for any reason, without explaining it. The recording is yours either way.
Inside 48 hours the seat is held and the materials and recording still come to you, but the guarantee in section 1 assumes attendance, so a no-show is not a refund. Talk to me anyway. Life happens in medicine more than most fields and I would rather find you a date than keep your money.
5. If I am the one who cancels
If I cancel or move a session for any reason, you choose: a seat on the new date, or a full refund. You never absorb my scheduling.
6. Which purchases this covers
This policy covers the Group Intensive and the Private Intensive. Both carry the same guarantee on the same terms.
Free material, meaning the essays and the newsletter, involves no payment and so needs no refund. You leave with the unsubscribe link in any email.
7. How to ask
One email to brian@thecodingdoctor.com. No form, no template, no reason required beyond the fact that it did not work for you. Tell me the date of your session so I can find the order.
8. Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, email me before you contact your bank. A chargeback takes weeks and involves strangers. I can refund you the same day.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer law that applies where you live. Where that law gives you more than this policy does, it wins.
